Shall the School District of Springfield R-12, Springfield, Missouri, issue its general obligation bonds in the amount of $30,000,000 for the purpose of: 1. air conditioning certain existing school buildings; 2. making improvements to Parkview High School and other school facilities, to include constructing new buildings and improving, repairing and renovating existing buildings; and 3. furnishing and equipping school buildings?|ret||ret||tab|

Here's how the money would be spent:|ret||ret||tab|

$12 million to air-condition and improve 11 sites (Delaware, Disney, Pittman, Weller, Westport, Carver, Pipkin, Glendale, Hillcrest, and Kickapoo and Central gyms and locker rooms);|ret||ret||tab|

$10 million to air-condition, repair and rebuild major instructional spaces at Parkview High School;|ret||ret||tab|

$4.5 million to build phase I of a new school in southwest Springfield; and|ret||ret||tab|

$2 million for heating, roofing, electrical and miscellaneous repairs at nine sites (Bissett, Bowerman, Campbell, Field, Study, Sunshine, Wilder, General Services Center and Phelps Center for the Gifted).|ret||ret||tab|
