Schnucks picks location for $100M distribution facility

Schnuck Markets Inc. officials announced yesterday they will begin construction this summer on a new distribution center, estimated to cost $100 million, in north St. Louis County.

The St. Louis-based grocery chain plan to build a 915,000-square-foot center and employ 400 people at a business park in Kinloch, according to the St. Louis Business Journal.

The company could receive $3.7 million in state incentives if it meets job creation and other requirements.
