The ownership of Schnucks is buying two Wisconsin grocers.
The 1939 Group Inc., a newly formed holding company from the family behind Schnucks, reached a deal to buy Skogen’s Festival Foods and Hometown Grocers. The financial terms were not disclosed.
Schnucks, Skogen’s Festival Foods and Hometown Grocers will operate as separate companies under the 1939 Group, which is based in St. Louis.
