SCA names 2005 officers

Springfield Contractors Association has elected its officers for 2005. Officers were chosen at SCA’s Oct. 20 board meeting. Serving the organization next year will be David Roling, Conco Companies, president; Bill Nesbitt, Nesbitt Construction Inc., vice president; Joe Tucker, Tucker & Co. PC, treasurer; Mike DeLong, City Utilities TecHouse, secretary; Tim Wilson, Bi-State Roof Systems Inc., past president; and Don Jones, Hulston, Jones and Marsh, general counsel.

Dave Robertson, Prestressed Casting Co., was elected to a new term on the SCA Board of Directors.

Re-elected and continuing board members are Bill Adams, Conco Quarries Inc.; David Anderson, Springfield branch of APAC Missouri Inc.; Mel Brooks, Brooks Plastering Inc.; King Coltrin, Great River Engineering; Danny Edwards, Connelly Plumbing; Debra Ferguson, D. Ferguson Construction Inc.; John Griesemer, Springfield Underground Inc.; John Melton, Melton Inc.; Jay Miller, Ron Miller Hardware & Specialty Sales Inc.; Rick Quint, Walton Construction Co. Inc.; and Charles Slavens, Artisan Construction Services Inc.

Terms for new officers and board members commence Jan. 1.
