Springfield businessman Keith Jaspers was the Springfield Business Journal 12 People You Need to Know honoree for July. He spoke with SBJ Editor Eric Olson about his foundation the Rainbow Network, which provides aid to rural Nicaraguan villages. About $2 million is donated to the foundation every year, which has helped the organization build 650 houses, about 500 grade schols and 200 feeding centers since it was created in 1995. The Rainbow Network originally served five communities but now has expanded to 124.
