What Readers Think
No, for another reason
I would need to rent a car or use a cab when I got there anyway, so that would wipe out any savings.
—Jonathan Rimington, Elliott Lodging
I desire fast cross-country passenger trains, such as bullet trains (traveling) Seattle-Denver-St. Louis-New Orleans. St. Louis-to-Springfield is too short a segment unless my destination is near there. These cities might be stops on a longer line, such as Texas to Ohio.
—Peter Montgomery, Bellevue, Wash.
Yes, for another reason
I would travel to St. Louis more often, because I would not have to drive the crowded Interstate 44.
—Sally Rowe, Missouri State University
