What Readers Think
Grocery store
I would like to see a high-end grocery store, like a Harter House downtown, maybe a smaller version.

Restaurant
I work at Butler, Rosenbury & Partners on Main Street, which is right around the corner from College Station, and I would love to be able to walk over there and grab lunch during the day.

Music store/Art gallery
Springfield has enough restaurants and clothing stores, and I don’t believe that the area could be served well by a financial institution. The goal for revitalizing downtown is to bring folks to attractions. When people get out of a movie, they will continue through College Station to go to a bank?
In Georgia (when I lived there), Atlanta has Underground, which is a historical district as well as an attraction. Some years back there was a Sam Goody’s similar to Spencer’s, and it seemed to do well. Anyway, that is just my thought, something different that isn’t already flooding the market.
