The nicest hotel in town is the Holiday Inn Express by Hammons Field. That is usually where I recommend people stay.
My next choice is always Hampton Inn, because I know they are consistent across the country, and that’s where I stay when I travel.
For a unique experience, the Best Western-Rail Haven has inexpensive, clean, recently remodeled rooms.
