SBJ wins 14 awards in state contest

Springfield Business Journal brought home 14 awards from the Missouri Press Foundation’s Better Newspaper Contest.

The selections comprise five first-place honors, three second-place awards, five third-place nods and one honorable mention. Presented during the 148th annual Missouri Press Association convention Sept. 27 in Columbia, SBJ was part of the Class 2 Weeklies category for a circulation of 3,001 to 7,000. Columbia-based Missouri Press Association, founded in 1867, represents more than 260 newspapers in Missouri.
