SBJ dissects its readership

Editor’s Note: In keeping with the In Focus on Women in Business and

the fact that this issue will be distributed at SBJ’s 2007 Most Influential Women luncheon on Sept. 14, we decided to take a closer look at our readership to see how our female readers compare to male readers. We’re also publishing on the facing page an inside look at the judging process for Most Influential Women. Kay Logsdon, after culling out her picks for the 20 Most Influential Women from a pool of 71 nominees, felt compelled to commit her thoughts on the process to paper.

Readership information came from SBJ’s 2006 readership survey. There were 176 women who responded, along with 198 men.
