SBJ announces Dynamic Dozen honorees

The honorees for Springfield Business Journal’s fifth annual Dynamic Dozen awards have been selected.

The 2008 honorees, in alphabetical order:

Banta Foods Inc.; Cody Ventures LLC; Covenant Church Furniture Manufacturing; CoxHealth; Dewitt & Associates Inc.; Hamra Enterprises; Healthcarefirst Inc.; Incredible Pizza Co. Inc.; Jack Henry & Associates Inc.; Protel Systems & Supplies Inc.; Russell Cellular Inc.; and Southern Trades LLC.

Certified public accountants Elliott, Robinson & Co. LLP determined the 12 fastest-growing companies based on dollar and percentage growth during the past three years. Companies must have headquarters within a 50-mile radius of Springfield and must have recorded at least $500,000 in annual revenues for each of the past three years.

The No. 1 fastest-growing company and rankings of each honored company will be unveiled during a March 6 recognition event at Oasis Hotel and Convention Center, 2550 N. Glenstone Ave. SBJ’s March 10 issue will feature reports on each company.

The 2008 Book of Lists also will premiere at the Dynamic Dozen event.
