SBJ announces Choice Employer honorees

The results are in, and Springfield Business Journal will recognize the Ozarks’ top workplaces at a November special event.

Springfield-area companies were nominated for recognition, and following independent calculation by accounting firm Whitlock, Selim & Keehn LLP, 20 companies have been named SBJ’s 2008 Choice Employers, formerly Best Places to Work.

By size category and in alphabetical order, the honorees are:

• 5 to 24 employees – Creative Ink Architects LLC; Davis Lynn & Moots PC; Employee Benefit Design LLC; GHN Architects/Engineers; and Sapp Design Associates, Architects PC.

• 25 to 100 employees -– Arvest Bank; Elliott Robinson & Co.; Environmental Works Inc.; Kirkpatrick, Phillips & Miller, CPAs PC; and Ollis & Co.

• 101 to 300 employees – Cody’s Convenience Stores; Empire Bank; Guaranty Bank; Penmac; and The Track.

• 301+ employees – American National Property and Casualty Co.; BKD LLP; Chase Card Services; Commerce Bank; and SRC Holdings Corp.

Rankings will be announced during the Choice Employers awards breakfast, 7:30 a.m. Nov. 14 at the Oasis Inn & Convention Center, 2550 N. Glenstone Ave. Tickets are $15 and are available at sbj.net.[[In-content Ad]]
