Small Business Oversight Chair Judy Chu is calling for answers on questions of suspicious applications for the U.S. Small Business Administration's pandemic bailout program.
"I’m demanding answers from SBA on how they plan to recover this taxpayer money,” said Chu, a California Democrat, in a Friday Twitter post.
She's taking issue with the Economic Injury Disaster Loan program's distribution of billions of dollars as scammers attempted to gain access.
