The Small Business Administration announced it would release an easier and quicker Paycheck Protection Program loan forgiveness application.
The changes come after last week's passage of the Paycheck Protection Program Flexibility Act of 2020.
"The SBA, in consultation with Treasury, will promptly issue rules and guidance, a modified borrower application form and a modified loan forgiveness application implementing these legislative amendments to the PPP," said Kelly Hunt, director of the SBA's Western Pennsylvania District.
