The Small Business Administration quietly slashed the loan limit under the Economic Injury Disaster Loan program.
People familiar with the matter told The Washington Post that the max loan is now $150,000, compared with a previous pledge of $2 million.
The SBA reportedly has faced a large backlog of applications for the disaster loan program for the past several weeks.
