The Small Business Administration announced lenders can start submitting applications for Paycheck Protection Program loan forgiveness on Aug. 10.
Only lenders will have access to a forgiveness platform created by the SBA in partnership wtih financial services technology provider Goldschmitt-CRI.
The confirmation of the portal and its opening date were the main new revelations from the SBA's announcement, banking officials say.
