SBA offers business advice through podcasts

Posted online
The U.S. Small Business Administration is using a cutting-edge tool to reach small-business owners and budding entrepreneurs.

The SBA has begun offering podcasts that discuss aspects of starting, expanding, financing and protecting a small business.

The audio files can be downloaded to a computer or MP3 player for free through the SBA Web site, www.sba.gov/podcast. Written transcripts of each podcast also are available.

The current library has podcasts on: Is Entrepreneurship for You?, The SBA Small Business Training Network, Selecting a Business that Fits, Disaster Preparedness for Business Owners and Financing a Small Business.

Each podcast is less than 10 minutes long and features interviews with small-business and industry experts. Additional podcasts will be posted to the site each month.

Upcoming podcast topics include: Checklist for Starting a Business, Legal Forms of Business Ownership, Business Planning: The Basics, How to Write a Business Plan, How SBA Can Help You Finance Your Business, The Importance of Marketing and Finding the Right Employees.[[In-content Ad]]
