Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund goes on US stock shopping spree

Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund added myriad U.S. stocks to its portfolio in the second quarter.

The company purchased 213,000 class A shares in Alphabet, 4.7 million class A shares in Zoom and 1.8 million shares in Microsoft, among other stock acquisitions.

At the end of the quarter, the sovereign wealth fund's investment portfolio's market value was $40.8 billion.
