Saudi Arabia and Russia are extending oil production cuts through the end of December.
“This additional voluntary cut comes to reinforce the precautionary efforts made by OPEC+ countries with the aim of supporting the stability and balance of oil markets," an unnamed Energy Ministry official said in a Saudi Press Agency report.
The move is slated to trim 1.3 million barrels of crude out of the global market, according to The Associated Press.
