Satire: Unpaid internship a really great experience for marketing firm

Following the exit last week of their unpaid summer intern, executives at Indianapolis marketing firm Purwin & Avery reflected on the positive experience for their company.

During the intern's 10 weeks, she provided more than 1,500 hours of free labor, according to a report from The Onion.

The firm has put in motion plans to keep the internship program going year-round, and at press time, had handed pink slips to three paid entry-level employees.
