Satire: Johnny Morris made mayor of Springfield

Following his entrance at No. 110 on the Forbes magazine 2013 list of Richest People in America, Springfield has decided to name the Bass Pro Shops founder as mayor.

Johnny Morris has already said by the time he is done with Springfield, “there will be a trout in every fryer and two deer heads in every living room," according to the Fair City News.

Morris will be sworn in this week at a ceremony at his hidden game reserve located in the catacombs beneath Bass Pro.
