Springfield-based Paul Mueller will provide fermentors, bioreactors, freeze-thaw systems and cross-flow and other filtration systems to Sartorius over a five-year period. No delivery volume or dollar figure is attached to the agreement, according to Paul Mueller Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Don Golik.
“This fits well with our capabilities and might lead to additional business,” Golik said.
The agreement covers the United States, Canada, the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.

Sartorius will be closing its stainless steel systems production facility in Bethlehem, Penn., and focusing on customer-specific application engineering and stainless steel systems installation at its Springfield location to be closer to Paul Mueller.
