Sarah Huckabee Sanders elected governor of Arkansas

Republican Sarah Huckabee Sanders is Arkansas' next governor.

She defeated Democrat Chris Jones with over 63% of the vote.

Sanders is slated to become the first female governor of Arkansas and the first child of a former governor to assume the seat. Mike Huckabee, her father, was governor 1996-2007.
