The families of nine Sandy Hook school shooting victims reached a $73 million settlement against the maker of the AR-15-style rifle used in the massacre, The New York Times reports.
The families argued Remington promoted sales of the weapon that appealed to troubled men like the killer behind the Sandy Hook incident.
Remington also agreed to release internal company documents showing marketing plans for the weapon.
