Presidential candidate Bernie Sanders released a plan on Saturday to reform U.S. public education.
The plan includes banning for-profit charter schools and ending federal funding for new charter schools.
Sanders, a senator from Vermont, said the plan “aims to make sure children have access to a high-quality education, regardless of their race, income and zip code.”
