San Francisco housing prices drop

The country's hottest housing market might finally be cooling off, according to CNNMoney.

Last month, San Francisco's median home price dropped 1.8 percent to $1.04 million compared to March 2015.

Sales dropped 22 percent last month, according to real estate brokerage Redfin.

"The sticker shock is wearing people down," said Nela Richardson, Redfin's chief economist. "We might be in a market that will continue to contract.

"When it looks like a market is contracting and getting smaller, especially with home sales being down 22 percent year over year - that is a big number and is worrisome."
