Samsung shares fall over Note 7 worries

Samsung's fire-prone smartphones are causing its shares to fall.

The South Korean smartphone maker's shares dropped 7 percent Monday after company officials told Galaxy Note 7 owners to stop using the devices over concerns they can burst into flames while charging.

Samsung is encouraging users to bring in their phones for a replacement as soon as possible.
