Samsung challenges other AI platforms with Bixby

Samsung is set to debut its upcoming Galaxy S8, which will prominently feature its new digital voice assistant Bixby.

The assistant is meant to challenge other artificial intelligence platforms, including Apple's Siri, Amazon's Alexa, Google Assistant and Microsoft's Cortana.

Bixby will be accessed via a dedicated button on the side of the phone.
