Lebanon Elementary School

This $7 million project comprises a new elementary school, bus transfer station and bus/building maintenance facility for the Lebanon R-III School District.

Sam Winn is the project architect, and Crawford Construction Company of Marshfield is the contractor on the project, which is financed by bonds. The first phase of a $14 million multiphase project, the new elementary school and related facilities have an estimated completion date of March 2002.

The new elementary school will serve 800 students in early childhood, kindergarten and first-grade programs. The design includes a central core area for spaces utilized by all students, and separate wings and playground spaces for each grade level.

The campus also includes a district-wide bus transfer station and a new bus/building maintenance facility. Other phases include additions to Boswell, Maplecrest and Hillcrest Elementary schools; renovation of Donnelly Elementary to a ninth-grade attendance center; and additions to the high school to be bid after occupancy of the new elementary school.
