Louise Yamada, director and senior analyst for Salomon Smith Barney, will be in Springfield Oct. 6 to present a seminar "New Horizons for the 21st Century."
Chuck Whittom, branch manager for Salomon Smith Barney in Springfield, said Yamada's visit to Springfield will include speaking engagements at Southwest Missouri State University, Downtown Rotary and Barnes & Noble prior to the seminar.
The seminar is set for 7:30 p.m. Oct. 6 at the Clarion Hotel. The event is free, but seating is limited. Reservations may be made by calling 800-884-5590 or 882-7150.
Yamada appears as a guest host on CNBC's "Squawk Box" and has written a book, "Market Magic," about the recent bull stock market and the outlook for the future.
