Posted online
Cloud-based software maker Salesforce.com agreed to purchase e-commerce software provider Demandware for $2.8 billion.

The $75 per share cash offer represents a 56.3 percent premium over Demandware's Tuesday closing cost.

Demandware's clients include Lands' End Inc., L'Oreal SA and Marks and Spencer Group.
