Project description: Crosslines Community Outreach is renovating more than 6,000 square feet at its current headquarters while adding nearly 2,000 feet of new construction to create an emergency women’s shelter. Project officials say it will feature shower spaces, sleeping quarters, a kitchen with serving area and a lounge, along with offices, a commissary, a lobby and private sleeping quarters. The project is partially funded by the federal American Rescue Plan Act. Paragon Architecture LLC is the architect, and engineers are Lee Engineering & Associates LLC, civil; and RTM Engineering Consultants LLC, structural and mechanical, electrical and plumbing.
