A Russian experiment at the RusMoloko farm in Moscow's Ramensky district seeks to increase the milk yield of dairy cows.
Researchers say outfitting a cow with a virtual reality headset can reduce anxiety and improve "the quantity, and sometimes the quality, of milk," according to a statement from the Ministry of Agriculture and Food.
The VR headsets are specially designed to fit the cow's head and show a "unique summer field simulation program," ministry officials said.
