Former U.S. Rep. Russ Carnahan was selected as chair of the Missouri Democratic Party.
He served for eight years in the U.S. House and four years in the Missouri House. He previously worked with his father, Mel Carnahan, on his various campaigns for statewide office.
"It’s cringeworthy to watch how Missouri is mentioned in the national news. We have work to do," Carnahan said of his latest appointment.
