Royal Caribbean founder dies

Royal Caribbean founder Edwin Stephan died Nov. 8. He was 87.

Stephan founded the company in 1969. Song of Norway, the first ship purpose-built for cruising, set sail in 1970.

Stephan retired in 2003, when he was vice chairman of the board of directors.
