Roy Moore launches 2nd campaign for Alabama Senate seat

Republican Roy Moore is once again running for Senate in Alabama, as he aims to defeat incumbent Democrat Doug Jones.

Moore’s 2017 campaign became mired in controversy amid sexual misconduct claims when he was a judge. He’s denied wrongdoing.

Moore was removed twice as a judge, once for defying a federal judge’s order related to a Ten Commandments monument and another time for urging probate judges to deny same-sex marriage licenses in defiance of federal courts.
