Since its inception, Rock ’n Ribs has raised more than $570,000 for nonprofits that work with disadvantaged or at-risk youth, according to a news release.
Proceeds from this year’s festival were presented this morning in Uncle Buck’s Auditorium at Bass Pro Shops to seven groups: Boys and Girls Town of Missouri; Ronald McDonald house Charities–The Tooth Truck; Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Ozarks; Good Samaritan Boys Ranch; Ozarks Regional YMCA and Developmental Center of the Ozarks.
Event organizers already have begun working on the 10th annual Rock ‘n Ribs Festival, which will be held April 17-18, 2009.
