'Rolling Stone' magazine seeks buyer

Jann Wenner, the co-founder, editor and publisher of "Rolling Stone" magazine, wants to sell the publication.

Wenner Media started a process "to explore strategic options" as a way to "best position the brand for future growth."

Wenner and son Gus, president and chief operating officer of Wenner Media, said the company hired bankers tasked with exploring a sale.
