Online media player maker Roku's shares rose 28% Thursday to close at a record of $83.17.
The increase followed Roku reporting a 51% increase in quarterly revenue to $206.7 million. Its active accounts rose by 40%.
Deals with manufacturers to embed the Roku interface into TVs are among growth areas.
