Roku filed for an initial public offering in hopes of raising up to $100 million.
The company, which sells boxes offerings users access to free channels like YouTube, subscription channels like Netflix and cable channels such as HBO, did not specify an IPO date.
Roku plans to trade under the ticker symbol ROKU on the Nasdaq.
