Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein is expected to leave the Department of Justice in mid-March, a source inside the department told CNN.
Rosenstein previously announced he would resign, but the timeline was unknown.
His mid-March resignation would follow the appointment of Bill Barr as attorney general.
