Roche's $4.8B deal for Spark cleared by FTC

The Federal Trade Commission yesterday cleared Roche's $4.8 billion buyout of Spark Therapeutics.

The approval comes after 10 months of antitrust investigations.

Earlier on Monday, the U.K. Competition and Markets Authority gave the green light to the deal.
