Robinhood announced its users soon will be able to invest in cryptocurrencies on the commission-free investing app.
Users in five states - California, Massachusetts, Missouri, Montana and New Hampshire - first will be able to make the trades starting in February.
The service will roll out with bitcoin and ethereum, and officials say more coins will be added later.
