Robinhood records first profitable quarter

Robinhood announced its first profitable quarter since going public.

The company's net income was $25 million for the quarter that ended June 30.

"The increase was driven by higher interest-earning assets, short-term interest rates and securities lending activity," Chief Financial Officer Jason Warnick said.
