Robinhood accused of aggressive marketing

Stock-trading app Robinhood has been accused by Massachusetts securities regulators of using aggressive marketing techniques.

The complaint alleges Robinhood used strategies "such as gamification to encourage and entice continuous and repetitive use of its trading application," especially targeting inexperienced investors.

Robinhood disagreed with the allegations and vowed to "vigorously" defend itself.
