Rite Aid has sold the pharmacy assets of more than 1,000 locations to rivals.
CVS Pharmacy, Walgreens, Albertsons and Kroger were the buyers. CVS is buying more than 600 of the assets.
The agreements come amid Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings for Rite Aid.
