The state government of Rhode Island has been hit with a cyberattack.
Hackers accessed RIBridges, the state's online portal for SNAP and Medicaid benefits and HealthSourceRI health insurance, according to Gov. Dan McKee’s office.
Officials said there's a "high probability" that personal information such as Social Security and bank account numbers was stolen from an undetermined number of people.
