Posted online
Retiring United Way of the Ozarks President and CEO Jennifer Kennally yesterday was sworn in as a member of the Ozarks Technical Community College Board of Trustees.

"She brings a wealth of knowledge to the table with her extensive fundraising experience and work with nonprofits. She will be a valuable asset to the college," OTC Board Chairman Greg DeLong said in a news release.

Kennally succeeds Jackie McKinsey, a founding member of the board who retired July 31.

Kennally, who has led the local United Way since 2008, is scheduled to retire from the post at the end of the month. She also has past experience as president of the Mercy Regional Foundation and executive director of the American Cancer Society of Greene County, but spent most of her career in executives roles with the United Way in Missouri and Kansas, according to the release.

Meeting once a month, the six-member OTC board also includes Chip Sheppard, J. Howard Fisk, Larry Snyder and Jeff Layman, according to OTC.edu.
