A project to smooth and resurface Route M in Webster County is moving forward, according to an announcement from the Missouri Department of Transportation. The stretch of Route M that is being resurfaced stretches through Niangua and continues nine miles to the east of that town. Journagan Construc-tion is the general contractor for the project. |ret||ret||tab|
Rough spots along Route M will be ground smooth during the project. Workers will be operating grinding and paving machines, and drivers can expect one-lane traffic when crews are working on the highway. MoDOT Senior Con-struction Technician Page Morgan advises drivers to slow down during the highway work, for their own safety as well as the safety of the workers. Flaggers will be guiding traffic through the work zone. The project is slated for completion April 13, weather permitting. |ret||ret||tab|
Route M is one of four paving jobs scheduled in Webster, Greene and Chris-tian counties in the next month or so. [[In-content Ad]]
