Results are in for 2011 Choice Employers

With results verified by the business department at Evangel University, 12 companies are set to be recognized in November as Springfield Business Journal’s 2011 Choice Employers.

Honorees are chosen based on their responses in an online survey to 32 questions related to employee benefits at their companies, with varied point values assigned to the answers to each question.

Companies are divided into four categories based on employee counts. Rankings in each category will be announced at a Nov. 10 event in downtown Springfield.

Alphabetically, the honorees by category are:

• GHN Architects Engineers, Pension Consultants Inc. and Springfield Convention & Visitors Bureau, in the five to 24 Employees category;
• Kirkpatrick, Phillips & Miller CPAs PC, UMB Bank and The Whitlock Co., in the 25 to 100 employees category;
• College of the Ozarks, Commerce Bank and The Track, in the 101 to 300 employees category; and
• CoxHealth, Drury University and Kraft Foods Inc., in the 301-plus employees category.

The 2011 Choice Employers reception and awards event will begin at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 10 at 425 Downtown, an event venue at 425 W. Walnut St.
